Marivere gathi - Chittaswaram

I recorded this chittaswaram of the Shyama Shastri krithi, Marivere gathi in raagam, Anandabhairavi as an entry for registering in A R Rahman’s Maajja initiative. This krithi is my all time favorite Navaratri devi krithi taught by my guru, Vidya Gangadharan. Hope you enjoy it.

Krishna nee begane baaro

Here’s the fourth song from my pandemic quarantine riyaaz series - Krishna nee begane baaro, a popular song in raagam, Yaman Kalyan. This version was inspired by K S Chithra’s rendition in the album, Classical Moods. Thanks to Romin chettan and Abhilashettan who introduced me to this album during the drive from Bangalore to Trivandrum a decade ago.
